  Smart factories have attained autonomous capabilities, enabling them to collect, analyze, reason, and plan. Leveraging holistic visualization technologies for reasoning and prediction, and employing simulation and multimedia tools, they augment real-world environments to visualize design and manufacturing processes. Each component within the system can self‑configure into an optimal architecture, exhibiting coordination, reconfiguration, and scalability.
